On my first visit I chose a $4.99 organic salad with chickpeas, mixed greens and balsamic and thought it tasted great.”

This small organic store and cafe in Kensington Market has an elegant decor. Soup and several cold salads such as quinoa tabouli, pasta, potato, and others. For dessert there is an excellent selection of vegan cookies, brownies, and homemade soy ice cream along with coffee and tea.
The food is mainly for take out but there are two small tables and some benches. Fancy oils and gourmet products, bulk rice and grains are tastefully arranged on the walls. Open daily 11am-8pm.
Update (Sept. 2006): They now serve crepes, the same ones that were offered by the sidewalk in the summer. They are entirely vegetarian and organic including a vegan buckwheat option. For fillings there are 15 ingredients to choose from, including seasonal fruit.
